Quick & Simple Breakfast

Getting a good Breakfast inside us is so important especially if we work out early in the day. With all the rush of the morning it’s easy to give it a miss. 

But as we get past our 30’s, every year that goes by slows down our metabolism slightly which means losing weight gets increasingly harder. Great eh?! So we need to do all we can to make it fire and keep burning those calories! 

Having a good breakfast is a certain way to get the metabolic fire going so here is such a simple tasty breakfast that’s so quick to put together full of protein and carbs to fuel us through our workout and throughout the day.

  • 1 Cup Brown Rice Puffs/Rice Krispies (found in the health food aisle with the cereals – I buy Nature’s Path in a bag)
  • 3/4 Cup Plain Fat Free Greek yogurt
  • Small Apple chopped
  • Sprinkling of cinnamon
