Diary of a ‘Clean Eater’ Day 1

So how was your day yesterday? Hope you had a good one and you feel good about yourself!

My day started off like this:

7.30 – Breakfast

  • 1/2 Cup of Berries,
  • 1/2 Cup of Non-fat plain greek yogurt and
  • 1/2 Cup of my Homemade Cereal


930 – Gym Workout

  • 1.5 minutes on Bike on gear 16
  • 1.5 minutes on Treadmill holding on running while in ‘off’ position
  • 1.5 minutes of Medicine/Stability Ball Slams

(repeat 4 times with a rest of  minute in between)

  • 1.5 minutes of Planks on hands lifting up alternate arms
  • 1.5 minutes of Russian Twists, passing weighted ball from side to side

(repeat 4 times with rest of 1 minute in between)

1115 – Snack

2.00 – Lunch

6.00 Dinner

  • Salmon Fillet baked with lemon juice and chilli flakes
  • Cauliflower rice mixed with small head of broccoli florets, 1/4 cup edamame beans, 1 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce, 1 tsp lime juice, finger nail of chopped ginger, small piece of chopped green jalepeno peppersalmon

(This dinner is really easy if you’re making it for the family and they want to eat carbs, just substitute the cauliflower for pasta, noodles or rice and make everything else the same)

8.30 Snack

  • Big mug of redbush tea with handful of raw almonds, tsp. cacao nibs, tsp. goji berriessnack

Normally I would have an afternoon snack but not bother with an evening one, but lunch was late today so I had an early dinner instead!
